Summer Market Day 2026

On Thursday 9^th July, we held our annual Summer Market Day at Hillingdon Manor, and it was an amazing day! As always, we invited parents and carers to visit for the afternoon, to enjoy the stalls, entertainment and food offerings, all created by members of our school community. This year, we had lots of different games and activities that pupils could  participate in, arranged by class teams. These included Hook the Duck, Lucky Dip, Sponge the Teacher, Karaoke, designing badges and higher or lower.

There were also wonderful items for sale, including hand decorated teapots, postcards, slime and foot items. Food Tech also put on burgers and hot dogs, whilst classes also offered fresh juice, sweet treats and even sushi!

Headteacher, Grace Mullally, commented “We are incredibly proud of our pupils and everything they achieved. From designing and creating their products, to producing eye-catching marketing materials, delivering persuasive sales pitches, and demonstrating fantastic entrepreneurial skills, they truly rose to the challenge. What made the day even more special was seeing the enjoyment on their faces as they visited each other’s stalls, supported one another, and developed their social communication skills in such a positive and meaningful way. Days like today show just how valuable our specialist, skills-based curriculum is in preparing our pupils with confidence, independence, and real-life experiences.”

It was a fantastic afternoon – thank you to those parents and carers who were able to visit and a big thank you to Toni S who oversaw the Market Day and made sure it was a real success! Roll on Christmas Market Day 2026!
