HMS Staff Visit Buckingham Palace

On Wednesday 20^th May, Luke Pierre-Inkson (Assistant Headteacher) and Michael Precht (Forest School Lead) visited Buckingham Palace. They were invited to attend to represent Hillingdon Manor School, due to our ongoing participation in the Award, at an event to celebrate the Duke of Edinburgh Award’s 70^th Anniversary.

Luke and Michael were thrilled to visit the Palace and hear from the Duke of Edinburgh himself, and were able to share their positive experiences of the award delivery at the school. It was a wonderful day.

Luke shared after the visit: “Representing Hillingdon Manor on a visit to Buckingham Palace was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will never forget. I am proud of the success we have achieved running The Duke of Edinburgh Award at HMS and look forward to supporting more pupils on their journey.”
