Engineering Programme Success at HMS

A group of pupils at Hillingdon Manor took part in the Primary Engineering Programme on Wednesday 10th June 2026. The programme involved pupils building a toy vehicle, using a range of tools and materials, and then testing to see if it worked!

The group decided to build toy cars, with wood being the main material of choice, and had a great time experimenting with different styles, to see which worked best.

It was an excellent experience for pupils, who received a certificate, medal and a cap – and they also got to keep the cars that they built!
