World Environment Day 2026
On Friday 5th June, the Hillingdon Manor community came together to celebrate World Environment Day 2026 by planting some vegetables!
Mick Precht, our Forest School Lead, oversaw the activities on the day, which including gathering compost from our compost area, sieving the compost, preparing the trays, cutting tomatoes and sourcing seeds, and planting the seeds ready for growing!
Pupils tentatively placed their seeds in their compost, before watering them to begin the process of successful germination.
