Home News & Events World Book Day
World Book Day was celebrated on the 7th of March, and everybody in the school worked hard to make it an amazing day. Many students and staff dressed up to get into the spirit of promoting the crucial and enhancing activity and life skill of reading for pleasure. Students and staff also worked hard to decorate doors. There were interesting reading activities and activities connected with books happening everywhere around the school.
We also had an author visit from a woman who has written over six books. She ran a discussion workshop and talked about her life as a writer, how to become a writer and how reading can be a life-long aid to well-being. All the students and staff that attended this workshop were engaged and interested and represented the school well.
