On Monday 11.03.2024 Boffin John visited our school and offered all key stage 3 students a fantastic day with a variety of interactive ‘jaw-dropping’ activities: The Boffins Assembly, The Plasma ball and Mighty Polymers workshop and a Rocket Launch to seal the day. During the week, 3 educational trips were organised this week to the Science Museum. Key stage 4/5 students had the opportunity to visit the Museum galleries. We stopped for the David Sainsbury’s Interactive Gallery to explore the wonders of the engineering world, and we appreciated the Time travel journey through the clock master’s gallery. Key stage 3 students had an incredible time visiting the WonderLab, where they had access to a variety of hands-on activities and presentations/shows. On Wednesday, Key stage 4 and 5 students engaged in a STEM workshop. They have used their practical abilities and creativity to design an Aircraft and a Lighting Photo Frame.
