SALT Bring Spring to HMS

We have been having lovely first SALT sessions back this week.

This week SALT sessions explored the garden sensory tray.

Children practised requesting items such as flowers, soil and seeds using their preferred communication method (symbols, signs, or words). They also made simple comments such as “like” to share their enjoyment. SALT encouraged positive peer interactions, including offering garden items to friends, and supported 1:1 intensive interaction with adults to build communication and attention skills.
