Home News & Events Mental Health Awareness Week 2026

During Week Commencing Monday 11th May, we acknowledged Mental Health Awareness Week 2026, which was overseen by our wonderful Clinical Team.
On Monday, pupils took part in activities about understanding their emotions, exploring these using TUFF Trays. On Tuesday, pupils explored deep breathing, and how this can support with positive regulation. On Wednesday, pupils took part in movement activities, learning about how their body can help with staying well. On Thursday, we explored sensory calm and relaxation, enjoying learning about calming music, fidget toys and relaxing. Finally, on Friday, pupils learned about positive affirmations, considering ways to ‘feel good’ both mentally and physically.
