STEM Week Update – 2 🤖

The computer science and ICT pupils assembled some parts of a smart home together 🏠 and coded a few of the smart home features 💻. They also tested the smart home and sensors involved in creating a smart home 🧪. Various sensors were built into the sensor shield. Sensors like steam sensor 💨, photocell sensor ☀️, motion sensor 🚶, humidity sensor 💧, Bluetooth sensor 📡 and gas sensor ⛽ were used to create the smart home.

For example – the door of the smart home opens when the password has been keyed in using the buttons 🔐. The humidity sensor detects the moisture in the soil 🌱.
