The Horticulture curriculum at Hillingdon Manor focuses on propagation, planting and maintaining gardens. The school owns a plot of land where we plant and grow vegetables. Pupils taking this subject are responsible for conserving and sustaining this garden.
Gardening is often recognised for its therapeutic qualities and many of our pupils greatly benefit from the experience of nurturing and growing plants. For the pupils that wish to pursue certification in this area, we are able to offer several horticulture certificates through the Open College Network at Entry Level 3 and Level 1.
