Hillingdon Manor School is a highly regarded independent school that is part of the Hillcrest Group. The school caters for children 4-19 years with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The core function of therapeutic intervention is to facilitate pupils’ access to the curriculum in the educational setting.

You will join an experienced and supportive team of therapists that includes Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, a Clinical Psychologist, Drama and Music Therapists and Counsellors. You will work closely with teaching staff to enable students to access the curriculum in the educational setting. You will provide specialist SaLT assessment and therapy services utilising a variety of service delivery models.

Relevant paediatric experience is essential. You will have experience working with children with significant language and communication difficulties. Experience in planning and facilitating group work is essential. This position requires excellent communication, time management and organisational skills. High levels of computer literacy, creativity and problem solving skills are also required.

You will have access to regular clinical supervision, appraisal, in-service training and funding for relevant external professional development opportunities. You will have opportunities to supervise and support less experienced members of the SaLT team.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau disclosure.
