The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. The Pupil Premium is rising to £1.875 billion in 2013-14, with schools attracting £900 per disadvantaged child.
As Hillingdon Manor School is an independent school we do not have pupils eligible for FSM (Free School Meals). The funding we receive for the pupil premium goes towards LAC (Looked After Children). Over the past two years we have received £900 for pupils designated as (LAC), we have used this funding to provide extra support in literacy, numeracy and occupational therapy.
